The owner / operator, “Zip”, was a graduate of General Motors Institute from
the class of 1958. GMI is now known as Kettering University located in
Flint, Michigan. Zip had 50 years experience in transmission repair
and has trained the staff at Goodeal Transmission to repair transmissions to
be as good as new and many times better than when the vehicle was brand new
because Goodeal Discount Transmissions applies all updates the factory
recommended after the vehicle was manufactured, so your vehicle actually
performs better than when you bought it new. Many times, these fixes
will prevent your transmission from failing like it did the first time.
